The model consists of a simulated animal outer shape and an upper gastrointestinal phantom, including oral cavity, pharynx, epiglottis, esophagus, cardia, pear-shaped stomach and partial duodenum. Erosions, ulcers, tumors and foreign bodies (bones, gastroliths, toy fragments, textiles) are set inside the stomach. Users can practice the full workflow of veterinary gastroscopy, such as scope insertion, scope manipulation, inspection, biopsy and foreign body snaring. The model is soft and elastic and will not damage the endoscope.

Trainees can complete the full workflow of veterinary gastroscopy operations on this model, covering core skills: scope insertion, scope control, examination, biopsy sampling and foreign body snare extraction. Constructed from soft and elastic material, the model will not scratch or damage the endoscope during repeated endoscopic practice, reducing equipment wear and supporting long-term, multiple training sessions.
