Description:

This model is specifically designed for training in ultrasound‑guided vascular interventional procedures, including peripherally inserted central catheterization (PICC), intravenous injection, and arterial puncture and catheterization.

Product Features:The model material possesses acoustic properties consistent with human tissue, allowing it to produce highly realistic images under real ultrasound equipment or X‑ray machines. The model’s right arm is abducted, presenting the standard body position for ultrasound‑guided PICC insertion training. It features realistic vascular anatomy, including the cephalic vein, radial vein, basilic vein, ulnar vein, medial cubital vein, brachial artery, radial artery, ulnar artery, superior vena cava, and subclavian vein (for verifying catheter placement). The model supports complete training in ultrasound‑guided peripherally inserted central catheterization (PICC) and arterial puncture procedures. The tactile feedback during puncture, guidewire insertion, and catheter placement closely resembles that of a real human body. It simulates realistic vascular characteristics: veins can be compressed by the ultrasound probe when not filled, while arteries are pulsatile and cannot be compressed. The arteries are filled with red simulated blood and the veins with blue simulated blood, allowing visualization of blood return upon successful puncture.
