Description:

This model is designed based on the internal and external anatomical data of a 6‑year‑old child and features realistic internal and external anatomical structures. It can be used for training in ultrasound‑guided brachial plexus block anesthesia, as well as for the entire process of landmark‑guided blind insertion and ultrasound‑guided central venous catheterization.

Product Features: 

 The model displays ultrasound images of the internal jugular vein, carotid artery, subclavian artery, subclavian vein, axillary artery, axillary vein, brachiocephalic vein, superior vena cava, right atrium, right ventricle, and other structures, allowing users to practice the complete procedure of puncture, guidewire insertion, and catheter placement with a realistic puncture feel. The model includes brachial plexus nerve structures such as the supraclavicular nerve, intermuscular nerve, and subclavian nerve, enabling training in landmark‑guided blind insertion and ultrasound‑guided brachial plexus block anesthesia via various approaches. Simulated anesthetic can be injected to facilitate ultrasound‑guided confirmation of needle‑tip position and practice of the complete anesthesia procedure. The model supports simulation training for the entire process of central venous puncture, guidewire insertion, and catheter placement, providing a realistic puncture experience. It features lifelike anatomical structures including the trachea, sternal manubrium, and clavicle, which serve as landmarks for blind central venous catheterization. The model simulates real vascular characteristics: veins can be compressed by the ultrasound probe when not filled, while arteries are pulsatile and cannot be compressed. Arteries are filled with red simulated blood and veins with blue simulated blood, with visible flashback upon successful puncture.
